GRASSHOPPER VOXEL DISTORTION
LOGIC
1. Create a mass of mesh boxes
2. Keep only boundary faces of the mass
3. Join duplicate mesh vertices
4. Assign each vertice a random vector
5. Adjust the distortion amount
6. Create mesh with new faces
6. Create mesh with new faces
GH Version
0.9.0006
Plug-ins Required
1. Weaver Bird
Tip
Will work with any mass made of planar faced mesh objects. Instead of calling out
boundary faces you can use mesh union but this will make the process much longer.
When the distortion amount exceeds the face size overlapping may occur. Use
any smoothing components to get a smooth flowing mesh. Try using attraction or
fields for the distortion to get varied distortion results.
