4. Cut the shapes out of the surface

GH Version
0.8.0066
Tip
Disable the split surface component when adjusting size and amount ofperforations to prevent freezing the computer. Turn it on when you have a
pattern you like. You dont need to use attractors you can just array regular
shapes across the surface. Plug the perforation shape directly to split
surface if you want to keep the shapes that fall off the surface.

Greetings, I am curious to know what the CON function for "remove circles falling off surface" stands for... It looks like a radius, but is it construct, connect.... etc. Thank you
ReplyDeleteHi, I have the same query as Mariana about the CON function... Tried and tried but couldnt find it or even something similar... that might be due to me having the newer GH version, in which I assume its name has been changed.
ReplyDeleteJust found out that the CON function is actually the "point in curve" function in the new GH... however, it still dosent seem to be perforating the surface even though I followed the exact same definition you have shown.
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem here in 2017 :/
Deleteemail me the definition ekimroyrp@gmail.com and I can take a look
DeleteI've same problem!
