GRASSHOPPER IMAGE GILLS
LOGIC
1. Divide a surface with points
2. Sample an image
3. Use image values to move points
2. Sample an image
3. Use image values to move points
4. Replace end points with original points
5. Create curves from points
6. Loft to make varying height gills that twist at ends
GH Version
0.8.0066
Tip
See Image Sample directions to set up the image sampler. Reverse the N vector from divide surface to flip the gill direction. Use images of objects
and make the values very dense to actually see the image in the gills. Also,
use images of shadow studies (as I did here) or heat maps to create
smart facade or roof systems based on site conditions.
