GRASSHOPPER OBJECT MANIPULATED MESH

This definition shapes meshes with objects

LOGIC
1. Start with some mesh (in this case a box)
2. Create objects inside or outside the mesh to manipulate the mesh
3. Determine the vertices of the mesh to move via distance to the objects
4. Move the vertices toward the manipulation objects
5. Combine moved and non moved vertices
6. Remake mesh and smooth

GH Version
0.9.0065
Plug-ins Required
1. Weaver Bird
2. Mesh Analysis and Utility

Tip
Try using different meshes to start such as spheres, planes, ect. The start
mesh does not need to be a closed mesh. You can use points, curves,
surfaces, polysurfaces, meshes, and other geometries to manipulate the mesh.
Manipulation objects can be inside or outside the mesh. Invert the sift pattern
to create an inverse manipulation. To get really accurate manipulations try
including the anemone plugin to loop the manipulation.

  1. Hey,

What is this gradient-ish command with the number '0.6' ? Is that graph mapper ?

    Kind regards,

    Aleksander

  3. Hello Micheal, I was wodering how you were able to get such a smooth interaction between the geometry and the mesh, I cant seem to get it to be smooth

  4. Hi Michael,
I also cannot find a working download for Mesh Analysis & Utility or MeshEdit. Is there a work around for this or another plug-in to download?
    Thanks!
